The fairness of roulette is mathematically determined by the wheel\“s design. Each number has an equal probability of landing when the wheel is spun, assuming the wheel is perfectly balanced and the ball is randomly distributed. However, the presence of the zero （and double zero in American roulette） gives the house its advantage.
