Real estate developer Signatureglobal has reported a mixed operating performance for the third quarter, with pre-sales declining year-on-year while cash collections showed robust growth.
In its business update released over the weekend, the company said pre-sales for the quarter stood at Rs 2,020 crore, down 27 per cent from the year-ago period, but broadly flat on a sequential basis. The area sold during the quarter fell 42 per cent year-on-year, although it rose 7 per cent compared with the previous quarter to 1.44 million square feet.
Despite the softer sales volumes, collections remained resilient. Cash inflows increased 14 per cent year-on-year and jumped 32 per cent quarter-on-quarter to Rs 1,230 crore, reflecting steady customer payments and improving realisations.
The company’s net debt stood at Rs 1,020 crore at the end of the first nine months of FY26, indicating a relatively stable balance sheet amid a challenging sales environment.
Commenting on the performance, Pradeep Kumar Aggarwal, Chairman and Whole-Time Director of Signatureglobal, said the company delivered a healthy performance in the first nine months of FY26, supported by sustained demand in its core micro-markets.
He added that the launch of its wellness-focused premium project, Sarvam at DXP Estate on the Dwarka Expressway, received an encouraging response, pointing to changing buyer preferences.
Aggarwal said strong collections, better realisations and disciplined balance-sheet management underlined the company’s execution capabilities. Looking ahead, he noted that the current business momentum and upcoming project launches keep Signatureglobal broadly on track with its guidance and long-term growth plans.
Shares of Signatureglobal (India) ended Friday’s session 0.95 per cent higher at Rs 1,001. However, the stock has fallen about 11 per cent over the past five trading sessions, reflecting investor caution amid the slowdown in pre-sales. |
