Inox Wind, KP Energy Join Forces To Develop 2.5 GW Of Renewable Projects

Inox Wind and KP Energy have entered into an exclusive agreement to jointly develop 2.5 GW of wind and wind–solar hybrid projects across multiple states, marking a significant scale-up in their renewable-energy ambitions.
The partnership is designed to combine the core strengths of both companies. Inox Wind will supply wind turbine generators and key engineering support, including design inputs and technical specifications, and will oversee commissioning and long-term maintenance of the turbines. KP Energy, meanwhile, will handle the groundwork—land acquisition, connectivity, statutory approvals and balance-of-plant construction—along with O&M for the non-turbine infrastructure.
Executives from both sides said the collaboration builds a stronger, more integrated platform for delivering large-scale clean-energy projects. Inox Wind’s Group CEO – Renewables, Kailash Tarachandani, said the association brings together manufacturing and engineering depth with on-ground development expertise, enabling both companies to pursue bigger opportunities with greater confidence. He added that the combined capabilities would help deliver structured, high-quality renewable projects.
KP Energy’s founder and managing director, Dr Faruk G. Patel, said the MoU strengthens the company’s long-term push toward building reliable and scalable clean-energy assets. He noted that KP Energy’s development experience, paired with Inox Wind’s proven equipment and engineering support, will allow the partnership to take on more complex wind and hybrid installations.
Both companies expect the arrangement to streamline execution, improve project quality and support India’s broader push toward expanding renewable-power capacity.
