Marriott Executive Apartments Hyderabad has introduced a Madurai Food Pop-Up at Mazzo Rooftop Restaurant, showcasing regional cuisine from Tamil Nadu.
The food festival aims to present traditional dishes inspired by Madurai’s culinary heritage, known for its use of bold spices and regional cooking styles. The specially curated menu includes dishes such as Kola Urundai, Kozhi Kulambu, Vendakkai Mandi and Kovil Puliyodharai.
The pop-up also features regional preparations, including Mor Kulambu, Kozhi Varuval, Kudal Kulambu, Eeral Piratal and Aattu Kari Kulambu. Vandiyur Chicken Biryani and the traditional Madurai beverage Jigarthanda are also part of the offering.
Hosted at the hotel’s poolside Mazzo Rooftop Restaurant, the initiative is designed to offer guests a regional dining experience focused on authentic flavours from southern India.
The event reflects the growing focus among hospitality brands on destination-based culinary experiences and regional Indian cuisine offerings to attract both local diners and in-house guests.
