Paras Defence and Space Technologies reported strong growth in revenue and profitability for the fourth quarter of FY26, driven by higher income and improved margins.
The company posted a net profit of Rs 25.96 crore in Q4 FY26, marking a rise of nearly 53 per cent from Rs 17.02 crore reported in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations increased to Rs 125.58 crore from Rs 90.16 crore in Q4 FY25, reflecting a growth of around 39 per cent year-on-year.
Total income for the quarter stood at Rs 135.27 crore, compared with Rs 95.32 crore in the year-ago period. Earnings before depreciation and tax (PBDT) rose to Rs 38.78 crore from Rs 26.05 crore, while profit before tax climbed to Rs 34.89 crore against Rs 22.62 crore in Q4 FY25.
The company’s operating profit margin improved to 31.82 per cent from 30.98 per cent a year earlier, while net profit margin expanded to 20.67 per cent from 18.88 per cent.
On the stock market, shares of Paras Defence closed at Rs 794.80 on Wednesday, down Rs 6 or 0.75 per cent from the previous close of Rs 800.80. |
