റായ്പുർ ∙ ഛത്തിസ്ഗഡിലെ ബിലാസ്പുർ ജില്ലയിൽ ജയ്റാംനഗർ സ്റ്റേഷനു സമീപം മെമു ട്രെയിൻ ഗുഡ്സ് ട്രെയിനിലേക്ക് ഇടിച്ചുകയറി 6 പേർ മരിച്ചു. നിരവധി പേർക്ക് പരുക്കേറ്റതായാണ് വിവരം. വൈകിട്ട് 4 മണിയോടെ ആയിരുന്നു അപകടം. ഒരേ ട്രാക്കിലാണ് ട്രെയിനുകൾ സഞ്ചരിച്ചതെന്നാണ് വിവരം.
മുന്നിൽ പോയ ഗുഡ്സ് ട്രെയിനിലേക്ക് മെമു ഇടിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. അപകടത്തെ തുടർന്ന് ബിലാസ്പുർ-കാട്നി റൂട്ടിലെ ട്രെയിൻ സർവീസുകൾ നിർത്തിവച്ചു. നിരവധി ട്രെയിനുകൾ റദ്ദാക്കുകയും വഴിതിരിച്ചു വിടുകയും ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്.
