Fugitive gangster Anmol Bishnoi, accused in the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, arrived at Delhi’s IGI Airport after being deported from the United States. NIA has sought Bishnoi's 15-day custody.On the run since 2022, Anmol is the 19th person arrested in connection with the Bishnoi-led terror syndicate. He was chargesheeted by the NIA in March 2023, which found that he had assisted designated terrorist Goldy Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi in carrying out multiple acts of terror in India between 2020 and 2023. According to ED sources, the Al-Falah Trust allegedly diverted crores of rupees to entities connected to the chairman’s family, awarding construction and catering contracts to companies owned by Jawad Siddiqui’s wife and children. On Tuesday, the Enforcement Directorate arrested Siddiqui, who heads the Al-Falah group — the organisation that operates the Faridabad hospital where the Red Fort car blast suicide bomber and other suspects had been employed.
