In what could be a crucial evidence regarding the D-6 terror plot, a photo of Dr Shaheen Shahid, 43, also known as Madam Surgeon, was seen posing with a Maruti Brezza that the Faridabad module planned to detonate for the December 6 attack.

The photo, which is part of the investigation dossier, also shows terror suspect Dr Muzammil Shakeel, standing next to Shaheen. The Brezza was recovered by the investigators from Al Falah University in Dhauj, Faridabad. Two other cars, including a Swift Dzire and a Ford EcoSport were seized during the probe from Faridabad and Delhi.
It was the seizure of the Haryana-registered Swift Dzire that initially led police to its owner Shaheen. The car, which was in the possession of Muzammil, was laden with an AK Krinkov rifle with three magazines, a pistol with live rounds, two empty cartridges, and two additional magazines.

Earlier, the investigators searched several premises linked to Dr Muzammil and recovered about 14 bags of ammonium nitrate, 84 live cartridges, one AK-47 rifle, timers, and 5 litres of chemical solution.
A Hyundai i20, the fourth vehicle acquired by the module for the planned attack on December 6, was used by the Delhi suicide bomber, Dr Umar un Nabi. He allegedly used a metal trigger in his shoe to detonate the explosives, consisting of triacetone triperoxide (TATP) and ammonium nitrate, when the car reached a signal near Red Fort Metro Station on November 10.
