Goldman Sachs Sells Eternal Shares Worth Rs 267 Cr To BofA Securities Europe
BofA Securities Europe SA has acquired nearly Rs 267 crore worth shares in Eternal, the parent company of Zomato, from Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE-ODI via open market transactions on October 1, as per media reports. The deal involved 82 lakh shares, translating into a 0.08 per cent stake, at Rs 325.5 per share, amounting to Rs 266.91 crore.Eternal’s shares gained 2.5 per cent to close at Rs 329 on the NSE, continuing an uptrend after surpassing its previous record high of Rs 305 in July.
In parallel market activity, Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore Pte picked up 32.51 lakh shares of RBL Bank (0.53 per cent stake) at Rs 274.44 per share, worth Rs 89.2 crore, even as the stock dipped 0.74 per cent to Rs 275.2.
Sammaan Capital surged 5.42 per cent to Rs 169.58, extending its rally to six consecutive sessions, while Jain Resource Recycling, newly listed, ended its debut session 37 per cent higher at Rs 318.06. Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund also bought 25 lakh shares (0.72 per cent stake) for Rs 68.48 crore.
